Don't forget the dry erase boards, and a freebie!! HM Journeys Lesson 22

So normally I am not a fan of dry erase boards.  At the beginning of the year they love to scribble and many times these  non washable makers get all over their clothing.  So I put them away until now.  Thirty-four days of school left and they can handle these boards. Yay!! Here they are writing phrases.  I am reminding them to use their spaces.

And math, practicing some addition and subtraction as I walk around and coach.
A simple third grad buddy task.

And my friend Tracy is at it again!  To get her free class book for this story, otherwise know as Houghton Mifflin Journey Unit 5, Lesson 22 click here.

How many days of school do you have left?  Do you have any end of the year tips and tricks??  Anything you save as your last magic trick???

  1. Thanks for entering my give away. I am so glad I found your blog since it looks like you use the Journeys reading curriculum...my district is switching to that next school year so I am looking for good resources to match up with it:)

  2. I get hesitant to bring out the dry erase boards early in the year too!

  3. Ahh...dry erase boards. Some years I can bring them out early and some years I can't. This year I strictly used them in small groups and gradually moved to whole group. Worked for this class...we will see next year. Cute post! =)
