I've gotten to go to my classroom twice. Teacher's start in 10 days, on August 7. I haven't gotten my key yet so I have to track someone down to open my room. There is sooo much more I want to do. Going back on Monday.
ReplyDeleteWe are in the same boat!! Teacher's start August 8.
DeleteI worked yesterday and that was my second visit this summer. I still have at least one full day's work left. But there is something nice about working, listening to your music and puttering away in your classroom. I'm so fortunate to be able to hold onto my school keys and go in when the weather is too wet to do anything else.

Are you telling me you can get your classroom ready in just 3 days?????? This gives me hope that I can unpack and complete in 4. I will have Monday (if I can get it), Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday afternoons and the following Monday. That's 4 days!! *breath in, breath out*.
DeleteMy husband is moving to 2nd grade this year, as well. He always schedules me to come in for a full day with him when he can get in and I help him implement his great decorating/organizing ideas. It's one of my favorite parts of back-to-school - I love working on his classroom with him! :-)
